Ingredients
• 2 (6.5 oz.) cans minced clams, drained with juice reserved
• 1/3 cup lemon juice
• 3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
• 1/3 cup minced onion
• 1 tsp. dried parsley
• 1 tsp. dried oregano
• 1 dash ground black pepper
• garlic powder to taste
• 6 tbsps. melted margarine
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• paprika to taste
Direction
• Preheat the oven to 165°C or 325°F.
• Slowly cook minced clams in the lemon juice over medium heat in a
medium saucepan for 5 minutes till tender and heated, stirring. Take away
from the heat.
• In a medium baking dish, place the clams and mix in approximately 3/4 of
the reserved clam juice, margarine, garlic powder, black pepper, oregano,
parsley, onion and seasoned bread crumbs. Add paprika and grated Parmesan
cheese on top.
• Bake the clam mixture for 30 minutes in the preheated oven to brown
lightly.
